The education landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is in the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school model isn't the only effective means of studying. False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-year duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These courses begin at NCV level two and the bare minimum requirement would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

The moment the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they might then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, currently being equivalent to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF here level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two and that is equivalent to an NQF level 2.

On which kind of students are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that traditional schooling is not really always the only real way of becoming an artisan or getting to be capable so if a student knows from an early age what their passions are, the NCV programme is in fact completely fitted to that student.

False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
